Church Picnic Sunday, September 8th, at Melton Hill Lake Pavilion. The Nurturing Commission will provide meat, dessert and drinks. Church members are asked to bring a dish or dessert to share and to also bring a chair. The picnic will begin at 4:00 p.m. Sign-up sheets for the picnic are in the Narthex.

This course will be offered to anyone who would like to be CPR/First Aid certified. The cost for the class is $80, payable to the church by check with the class name in the memo line. This class is highly recommended for ushers and greeters.

This drill will take place close to end of service. Members will be escorted from the building, and there will be helpers available for those with mobility issues.

New Creation praise band rehearses at this week at a special time, 9 AM, due to the unified service at 10 AM.

On fifth Sundays, Grace Lutheran holds a single worship service at 10 AM.

The first Thursday of the month now features Coffee Chat with Pastor Rosy! Join her for coffee and conversation at Calamity's Coffee in Jackson Square from 9 AM to 11 AM. Everyone is welcome. Ask for the Grace Lutheran table.

Blanket Workshop meets on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Thursdays each month from 10 AM to 2 PM. Sewing skills aren't required! Willing hands can cut fabric, iron, and arrange quilt squares.

Grace Hikes! Margaret C. and Ruth S. will be leading hikes on Saturday, October 5, at 10:00 am. Both hikes will begin together, but the group will split in two to accommodate both easy and moderate hiking abilities.

Blessing of the Pets will take place in the Memorial Garden.
